(Theory)

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO91: Analyze the impact of British colonialism on Indian society, economy, and politics, and critically assess the Government of India Act of 1858.

CO92: Compare the growth of revolutionary movements and communalism in pre-independence India, and evaluate the Government of India Act of 1909 in relation to earlier legislations.

 

CO93: Provide an overview of the Government of India Act of 1919, and explore Gandhi's philosophy in depth.

CO94: Critically assess the Government of India Act of 1935, and analyze the Civil Disobedience Movement.

CO95: Analyze the factors leading to the demand for partition and its consequences for Indian society and politics.

 

CO96: Contribute effectively in Course specific interaction.
