Comparative Political Institutions

(Theory)

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO25: Analyze and evaluate comparative politics from traditional and modern perspectives, demonstrating critical thinking.

CO26: Provide insightful evaluations of constitutional frameworks, highlighting complexities, tensions, and possibilities within constitutionalism.

CO27: Critically evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, and evolving trajectories of various forms of governance.

CO28: Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the separation of powers, elucidating the roles and interactions among governmental organs

CO29: Evaluate the theoretical underpinnings of representation, party systems, pressure groups, and public opinion within governance and democracy.
