INDIA’S POLICY TOWARDS ITS NEIGHBOURS

THE Department of Political Science organized a guest lecture on ‘India’s Policy towards its Neighbours’. The keynote speaker was Dr. Sanjay Bhardwaj, Associate Professor, School of International Studies (SIS), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. While stressing the need for harmonious relations between the various South Asian countries, he discussed their strategic importance for each other. In  his discourse, he elaborated the importance of Indian policy towards its neighbours in the overall development of bilateral relations in the region. This was a very informative session for the students of Political Science and International Studies.
