To acquaint the students with research methodology.To orient the students to the techniques of documentation

Synopsis

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO79:  develop deeper knowledge of methods in the major subject/field of study.

CO80: analyse the research and development work in field of research.

CO81: create holistic view to deal  critically, independently and creatively with complex issues.

CO82: develop capability to plan and use adequate methods to conduct qualified tasks in given frameworks and to evaluate this work.

Approach in teaching:

Discussion and Solving of Practical Problems, Practical application of research techniques through field visits and preparation of reports

Learning activities for the students:

carry out investigation of various political issues through primary and secondary sources .

Continuous evaluation of drafts and discussion of the work with the students,  Class test, Semester end examinations, Quiz, Solving problems in tutorials, Assignments, Presentation, Individual and group projects
