b) Student : Department of Political Science encourages the maximum participation of its students in various extension activities. The Department endeavors to increase the strength and also extends a helping hand whenever required to organize some event on the campus. Many of the Political Science(Hons. And Pass Course) students are active members of NCC and have attended various camps organized by the NCC unit of Rajasthan viz. Combined Annual Training Camp, Vayu Sainik Camp, Personality Development Camp, National Integration Camp, Republic Day Parade, etc.. Recent participation was made by Nandita Gupta, Kanika Katewa, Megha Choudhary, Surbhi Mewara and Divya Kanwar in various NSS activities. Jasnoor Kaur of semester VI has been working towards the strengthening of people- to- people contact in India and Pakistan as a means of Track Two Diplomacy. Jooshradio is a collaborated radio between India and Pakistan. Jasnoor is working as an administrator of the website and also as an RJ. Joosh radio is an online radio working with the incentive not only to entertain people but also bridge the gaps between both the countries. Nandita Gupta participated in INDIA YOUTH DELEGATION TO CHINA – 2011 organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, India, wherein 500 youth delegates from Political Parties, Academics, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Folk and Cultural Artists, Media, Chinese studies, Volunteers of National Services Scheme and National Youth Corps got an opportunity to represent their country in diverse fields. The exchange programmeinvolved interaction with the local youth, visits to tourist and cultural sites, rural areas and introduction to economic and social activities, all aimed at sending positive signals on the state of bilateral ties amid reports of recent strains.

Mock United Nations Security Council

The Kanoria Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur, organised a Mock United Nations Security Council on January 19, 2016. The subject matter of discussion was India's claim on the Permanent Membership of the Security Council. 4 delegates representing Japan participated from the Department of Political Science, The IIS University. The students bagged the third prize in the debate.
