Orientation session

The Department of Political Science, IIS (Deemed to be University) organized an Orientation session to integrate the students into the department and make the students and faculty familiar of each other.  The session began with the welcome of new students with Tika. The students were provided with insights about curriculum, innovative pedagogies, and annual events of the department. Students interacted with the faculty regarding their queries. The significance of thinking beyond classroom teaching schedule and develop critical thinking for successful understanding of the subject was explained to new students.  It was an inspiring interactive session where the eminent alumni of the department narrated some of their personal experiences and motivated students to work hard for three years to create a strong base of future.

Toward the end of the session the stage was kept open for Questions from the audience.

The discussion was successful in enlightening young minds and received an overwhelming response from the participants.
