Study Tour to the Sansad Bhawan

The Department of Political Science organized a study tour to the Sansad Bhawan, New Delhi on 5th and 6th September 2013. The group comprised of 30 students and 2 teachers. The students visited the Parliament and were hosted by the Bureau of Parliamentary Studies and Training (BPST). Ms. Manju Sharma, Additional Director, BPST, held an interactive session with the group regarding the democratic development in India and the Parliamentary structure. The group was then taken to the Parliamentary Museum where they examined the various exhibits with curiosity.  Afterwards the group visited the Lok Sabha and observed the working of this House of the Parliament. They also met some of the Members of the Parliament. Later the same day the group also visited the India Gate. It was a very enriching experience for the students.Gallery
