Objective: 

The objectives of this course are to: 1. Develop an overall understanding of the dynamics of the Indian Ocean; 2. Familiarise students with the strategic importance of Indian Ocean region; and 3. Gain the understanding of the key contemporary challenges and prospects in the region 4. Evaluate the development and impact of International actors on the region
