Objective of the workshop/seminar/activity: To make the students oriented with international political incidences occur due to global terrorism.
Summary/Description (max 500 words):
On the remembrance of 9/11 the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil ,The Department of Political Science is organising an Departmental Activity for Semester I students of B.A.Pass course, B.A. (Honours), and B.A. –B.Ed. Integrated programme ,to observe the casualties that the Americans feel even after 21 years. Terrorism is inhumane activity that create hostile environment in country .To provide a more boarder view on 9/11 attack, the department organized a documentary screening followed by interactive session and quiz. The student seminar was beginning with introduction of class interactions that are the part of student Yellow Booklet. Dr Archana Gupta (HoD, Department of Political Science) brief out the students regarding the various components of C.A. and Sem.End
The 3rd semester students of M.A. IR present the whole concept relate to Terrorist Attack 9/11 in numbers of slides. Through their slides, they make to understand the students about the casualties on economic ,social ,political ,human and environmental grounds. The documentary that run in the end of the presentation consists of series of events happen on 9September 2001.
Toward the end of the session the stage was kept open for Quiz in which all the students participate with enthusiasm
The discussion was successful in enlightening young minds and received an overwhelming response from the participants.
Outcome of the activity/event/seminar/workshop: The session created a crystal clear picture of 9/11 terrorist attack.
