Constitution Day also known as “SAMVIDHAN DIVAS” is celebrated in our country on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from 26th January 1950.

BHART LOKTANTRA KI JANANI" translates to "India, the mother of Democracy." This phrase reflects the democratic principles embedded in the Indian political system. India, with its diverse population and rich history, has embraced democratic governance since gaining independence in 1947. The country's democratic journey is characterized by periodic elections, a multi-tiered federal structure, and a commitment to fundamental rights. Despite challenges, India continues to evolve as a vibrant democratic nation, fostering civic participation and the rule of law."

Beyond the structural elements, BHARAT LOKTANTRA is characterized by a commitment to protecting the fundamental rights and liberties of its citizens. The Constitution guarantees freedom of speech, expression, and religion, promoting a pluralistic and inclusive society.

However, the democratic journey of India is not without challenges. Issues such as corruption, socio-economic disparities, and regional imbalances continue to pose hurdles. Nevertheless, the resilience of BHARAT LOKTANTRA lies in its ability to adapt and reform, driven by the active engagement of its citizens.

In conclusion, BHARAT LOKTANTRA encapsulates the democratic spirit of India, a nation that cherishes the values of participation, inclusivity, and the rule of law. As the world's largest democracy, India's ongoing journey in upholding these democratic principles remains a dynamic and evolving.

In way to aware the student about Indian Democratic structure, Department organized a session in which A ppt is prepared and show to students. Then a link is circulated among students and click on that link multiple questions supposed to be answered by students. Once the students answered all the questions, a e-certificate is generated to them.
