Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: CO31: develop an understanding of the meaning, nature, and scope of Public Administration and examine its evolution as an academic discipline through various approaches. CO32: analyse the distinctions between public and private administration, explore the emergence of New Public Administration, and assess the shift from Development Administration to New Public Management CO33: critically examine major administrative theories, including classical theory, scientific management, human relations theory, and rational decision-making. CO34: understand the concept and significance of public policy, study various policy theories, and evaluate the processes involved in policy formulation, implementation, and assessment CO35: explore the fundamental principles of organization, including hierarchy, span of control, delegation, coordination, supervision, and unity of command, and assess different organizational structures.
