Objective: 

The objectives of this course are to give an overall analysis of major concepts and principles of international system. Develop the ability to analyze them with a theoretical framework of international relations. Demonstrate basic understanding of the foundational theories and concepts in international relations. Provide a framework to understand the features of international relations and their practical application

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO55: Understand the meaning, nature, scope, and subject matter of International Relations, assessing its autonomy as an academic discipline.

CO56: Analyze the significance of national interest and national policy, along with the role of economic instruments in shaping foreign policy

CO57: Examine the concept of national power, its elements, and its evolution in the context of international relations

CO58: Evaluate the mechanisms that limit national power, including the balance of power, collective security, and world public opinion.

CO59: Explore the methods of pacific settlement of international disputes, the role of state and non-state actors, and the impact of globalization on international relations.
