Objective: 

The objectives of this course are to give an overall analysis of major concepts and principles of international system. This course able to develop the ability to analyze them with a theoretical framework of international relations. This course demonstrates basic understanding of the foundational theories and concepts in international relations. This course provides a framework to understand the features of international relations and their practical application.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO103: Understand the meaning, nature, scope, and historical development of International Relations as a discipline, including the challenges of nomenclature and its academic autonomy.

CO104: Analyze the concept of national interest and its promotion, along with the role of economic instruments and foreign aid in shaping national policy

CO105: Examine the meaning, elements, and evolution of national power, as well as the various means and methods used to exercise it in international relations.

CO106: Evaluate the constraints on national power, including the balance of power, collective security, world public opinion, and factors influencing global perspectives

CO107: Explore the methods of peaceful dispute resolution in international relations, the role of state and non-state actors, and the impact of globalization on conflict resolution

CO108: Contribute effectively in Course specific interaction
