Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: CO7: Analyze the causes and consequences of World War I within the context of global affairs. CO8: Investigate into the intricacies of World War II and explore the emergence of the Third World and the NAM. CO9: Examine the rise of superpowers and the various phases of the Cold War, understanding the dynamics and complexities of this geopolitical standoff. CO10: Develop an in-depth interrogation of the concepts of disarmament and arms control, while also studying the collapse of the USSR and the subsequent end of the Cold War era.
