Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO37: Assess the intricacies of the Basic Structure Doctrine in Indian constitutional law and the political ramifications of President’s Rule on Indian democracy's stability.

CO38: Analyze the obstacles to Indian unity and democracy, including regionalism, the aftermath of the Emergency on democratic institutions, civil liberties, and the intricate nature of communalism.

CO39: Evaluate the socio-political dynamics of casteism and the complexities surrounding secularism in India, exploring their lasting impact on identity politics, social hierarchy, and public policy.

CO40: Investigate the interplay between terrorism, social justice, and economic progress, considering how security threats affect marginalized communities and vulnerable groups.

CO41: Examine the constitutional framework and administrative practices governing Union Territories in India, particularly focusing on the effects of special provisions and the revocation of Article 370 on governance, autonomy, and socio-political dynamics.
