Course Rationale: Philosophy and politics are closely intertwined. We explore this convergence by identifying four main tendencies here. Students will be exposed to the way the questions of politics have been posed in terms that have implications for larger questions of thought and existence.
The objectives of this course are to:
1. Make the students understand about the major development and the key debates in the Political philosophy.
2. Develop understanding about the political philosophy of the most representative thinkers of their time.
