Objective: 

The objectives of this course are to developing critical understanding of the contemporary political issues under the ambit of various schools of thought and develop their own stand. To acquainting the student genre to acquire advanced knowledge of national and international politics. This course helps the student to evaluating alternative political ideas and ideologies and explain the role of political ideas, value conflicts, and ideology in human societies

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO145: understand the meaning, nature, and scope of ideology, and critically analyze the "End of Ideology" debate

CO146: to explain the evolution and key characteristics of Classical, Modern, and Neo-Liberalism,.

CO147: to analyze core Marxist concepts and evaluate the contributions of Neo-Marxist thinkers

CO148: to understand the foundational ideas and evolution of Fascism and Neo-Fascism, explore the key characteristics and methods of Anarchism

CO149: to examine various strands of Feminist thought and understand different forms of Environmentalism
