In order to celebrate the Vijay Diwas, the department of Political Science and International Relations organized movie screening on 20th December 2024.
In line with the spirit of patriotism and valor, the event also featured a special screening of
the movie Shershaah. The film Shershaah celebrates the life of Captain Vikram Batra, a hero of the 1999 Kargil War, who sacrificed his life for the nation. It portrays his valor, resilience, and undying spirit, inspiring patriotic fervor among viewers. The movie underscores the sacrifices of soldiers who defend the country selflessly, highlighting their courage and dedication. Through its emotional storytelling and powerful performances, Shershaah serves as a tribute to the armed forces and instills a sense of pride and gratitude for their service. It reinforces the value of patriotism and reminds audiences of the ultimate price paid for the nation's freedom.
The movie highlights the sacrifices made by soldiers to protect their nation, fostering respect for the armed forces.
