Objective: 

The objectives of this course are to introduces a wide span of thinkers and themes that defines the modernity of Indian political thought. The objective is to study general themes that have been produced by thinkers from varied social and temporal contexts. This course Acquaint the students with understand existing, contemporary and emerging trends in Politics with reference to how thinkers viewed them in the context of their times .

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO78:   determine the nature, methods and significance of Indian political thought.

CO79:  develop understanding of the various strands of thoughts with Indian perspective.

CO80:  evaluate the political and social solutions suggested by various thinkers, to the problems of India as a nation

CO81:  Develop an in-depth interrogation of the principles on which the Indian national movement was fought.

CO82: examine the concepts and theories of indian political thought to contemporary political issues and

challenges faced by Indian society CO83:contribute effectively in Course specific interaction
