Dr. Archana Gupta began her speech by welcoming the new students to the department, emphasizing the significance of their choice. She spoke of the department’s rich history, highlighting its evolution over the years and the milestones it has achieved. The HoD then introduced the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the department. She provided a brief overview of each course, explaining how they are designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for their future careers. One of the most inspiring parts of her speech was when Dr. Archana Gupta spoke about the department’s illustrious alumni. She mentioned several notable names who have made significant contributions in their respective fields, both nationally and internationally. These alumni, she emphasized, are not only a source of pride for the department but also serve as role models for the current students. By sharing stories of these successful individuals, the HoD aimed to motivate the new students to aspire towards greatness, knowing that they too have the potential to achieve remarkable success.
The departmental orientation concluded on a high note, with students and faculty alike feeling more connected and enthusiastic about the academic year ahead. The event was a perfect blend of formal introductions and informal interactions, which ensured that the new students felt welcomed and integrated into the department. Dr. [Name] and the faculty expressed their hopes that this spirit of collaboration and mutual respect would continue to thrive throughout the students' time in the department, laying the foundation for both academic success and lasting friendships.
