Objective: 

Course Rationale: The Purpose of this course is to give students a basic understanding of what is meant by the phenomenon of globalization, its sources and forms. In addition, students will obtain a familiarity with both key global actors and certain urgent problems that require solutions at global level

The objectives of this course are to:

1.  Understand about the fundamental concepts of Globalization

2. Identify the different forms of Globalization

Understanding Globalization

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

CO36:    Understand key principles of particular arguments in application to specific dimensions of Globalization

CO37: Understanding the core controversies, including the logic behind global challenges

CO38: Identify actors and processes in international politics, providing examples and framing opinion based on theories of international relations

CO39: Analysing and applying conceptual tools to global predicaments, realizing how policies must shift over time.

CO40: Assess the ethical implications and dilemmas associated with counterterrorism

strategies and policies
